We have a heart and soul for cleaning and when we had the opportunity to partner with the Cleaning For A Reason Foundation I felt no hesitation in providing the gift of free house cleaning to women in our community undergoing treatment for cancer – any type of cancer. Having lost my life partner, of 24 years David to blood cancer I understand intimately the insidious and devastating effects cancer has on the daily lives of the patient and family. Fighting cancer is tough! Cancer patients often have compromised immune system and can be susceptible to disease, making a clean home necessary. The benefits of your home being cared for can relieve stress and aid recovery – especially when ill from chemotherapy or surgery and unable to take care of your home and family as you’re used to. Our partnership with the foundation makes it possible for us to do our part in the way we know best – cleaning homes every day, and making a difference.

Each client patient receives two (2) free professional house cleanings – one a month for two months through our partnership with the foundation – all insurance, bonding and background screening credentials are verified by the foundation. Freshen Your Nest, LLC pays its employees their regular salaries, as we do for paying customers, because donating the cleaning is a corporate gift, not an employee donation.

The 501c3 Cleaning For A Reason was founded in October of 2006 and to date the foundation has recruited over 1200 maid service companies throughout the United States and Canada, has helped 46,000 women, and $15.5 million in donated cleanings.
